Chattanooga

Saturday we took a trip to the big city...well, Chattanooga (anywhere is big compared to Sewanee). Here are some pictures outside the Tennessee Aquarium of Hattie getting her feet wet.

Hanging Around

When we first arrived at our new home I found two trees in the backyard that were all prepped for a hammock. On Thursday Brad, Grandma Jan, and Hattie gave it a test swing. (click on any of the pictures to see a bigger view)

Our New Home

Sorry for the lack of pictures in the past week. Moving is a big task. We are finally getting settled here in our mountain home. Below are a few pictures of our house as well as Hattie sitting in her new yard. Since we are off the beaten path (our driveway is a gravel circle) Brit has gotten to spend more time off the leash. She has found the creek behind our house and barked and chased deer.

Harry Potter

Mom and Dad are really excited about this book. I guess I'll have to wait several years before I can fully appreciate it.

Packing

Hattie knows something's up. Yes, we started packing today. Friday we'll load the U-haul and drive to Sewanee Saturday morning. We have forgone so called "professional" movers and brought in the expert packing consultants...Ric & Alice are pros at packing. Hattie got in on the action and had a little fun too.

Saturday Morning

Here is Hattie this rainy Saturday morning with some of her favorite activities - on her play mat with her books and scooting around the floor (backwards, of course - we still haven't figured out the forward part). It's hard to tell but the one of her on the floor was taken after she had scooted under the jumperoo.

Pregnant Lady Update

Well, here is Mom 5 months pregnant. Things are moving along quite fast and Hattie would like to announce that she will have a little brother, Noah Bradley, to "command" around come November. She is quite excited.

Sticky Situation

Here is Hattie and her daddy having Friday fun with the scotch tape. She is shown here with a piece on her nose. A cute mess!
