Well, the spoiling has begun. Several weeks ago Elizabeth and I made a trip to the Build-A-Bear factory to make a stuffed-bunny for Hattie. Then last weekend when we saw my dad & Judy in Orlando we passed by a Vans store in the mall (yes, the Vans shoes that were popular in the late 80's & 90's). Before I knew it, Hattie's PaPa had bought her first pair of shoes. Very cool shoes Hattie...I hope you appreciate them. There is just something about actually being able to buy your daughter/granddaughter something that makes it feel a bit more real. It's a small excitement that helps fill the time until the Big Excitement. Thank you everyone for your prayers, encouragements, & gifts.

It will only get worse, trust me. You will wake up one day and not recognize your house, everything is pink and bunnies are everywhere, you cannot see the floor because of blankets and toys, there are alien like contraptions all over the place that make noise as a reward for junping and pulling levers, masses and masses of stuff, and to be honest it is pretty cool. Have fun guys!

I'll have to look at our family pics and find a picture of Brad sporting a cool pair of Van's tennis shoes. We'll show Hattie a picture of how tall her Daddy was (with big feet!) when he was around 9 or l0 yrs. old. Hugs! Mom
